Some people leave a mark so deep on this world that their absence feels impossible to understand. There are no words that truly prepare you for losing someone who was the heartbeat of so many lives, this is who Jerissa was.

I am writing this with a broken heart as I try to find the words to honor one of my best friends, Jerissa Parkhurst.

Jerissa was bold, fiercely loving, and had the biggest heart. She showed up for the people she loved in a way that made you feel seen, safe, and valued. Being a mom was one of the most important roles in her life, her children were her world, and she poured herself into them with strength, laughter, and unconditional love. She was also a devoted wife and an irreplaceable friend to so many.

Her sudden and unexpected passing has left her family and all of us who loved her in complete shock. As they navigate this unimaginable loss, her husband is now carrying the weight of caring for their four children while grieving the love of his life.
