While hiking on Jeremy’s family spring break vacation, he started to experience chest pain. Being that Jeremy is a healthy and fit 46-year-old, he didn’t think anything of it. When Jeremy and his family got home, he started feeling unwell. Jeremy’s beloved wife Cari didn’t like his symptoms and took him to a local ER. Thankfully, Cari made the right call and got Jeremy help right away, as soon after, Jeremy suffered a massive “widow maker” heart attack. Jeremy was rushed into surgery where the heroes at the hospital were able to bring him back and get him immediate treatment. Jeremy is currently in ICU and feeling better each day. He is in heart failure, with 30% functionality and with medication, medical intervention, and a “life vest,” he will hopefully gain more strength and improvement. This life-altering event has shaken their worlds, and we would love to show them support to help them through the upcoming months. They are working with insurance to understand the price for the “life vest” and medication, however it will not cover it all. Jeremy and Cari will be out of work while Jeremy heals.
