Support for Jenny’s Brave Journey Through Pancreatic Cancer

My mom was recently diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately,after recently completing chemotherapy myself I am still recovering financially and I am unable to take time from work. This leaves my step father to try to use what FMLA time he has available to get her to her appointments and to try to be here for her on days she needs help. This has created a huge financial burden as this is decreasing their income . At this time she is in need of someone to come in and help so all of us can continue to work . She also is needing help with transportation as their vehicle is in need of repairs and the cost of her medications and copays have started to add up. I really hate this. I managed to get through my chemo without needing to ask for help but unfortunately we only got a short time of normalcy before she was diagnosed and her situation is much different than mine was. I am depleted financially , emotionally and physically. My mom being ok is more important than my pride at this point. To say life has humbled me is an understatement. My family and I would appreciate any help that is offered.

What cancer does to people is absolutely disgusting. My heart goes out to anyone trying to cope with this monstrous disease.
