My mother Jennifer and I are facing an incredibly difficult time. On January 20th, while already in the hospital, my 53-year-old mother Jennifer unexpectedly went into septic shock. She spent several weeks on life support, and while she is now recovering, the journey ahead is still long and uncertain. She remains in the hospital and will soon move to a rehabilitation facility for at least a month, as she had to have part of her foot amputated due to complications.
During this crisis, I lost my job of nearly three years while dealing with everything that was happening. With both of us unable to work, our rent and bills have started to pile up, and we are struggling to afford basic necessities like groceries. I am actively searching for new employment, but until I can get back on my feet, we are in urgent need of support to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.
We are reaching out to our community for help during this challenging time. Any support you can offer—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story—would mean the world to us. Thank you so much for considering helping us as we work to rebuild and recover.
