UPDATE 12/6-

They’re leaning toward Jenny having a mini stroke. They are running several tests to figure out what caused it.

There’s a possibility she may come home with a 30-day heart monitor and start medications depending on what they find (likely cholesterol meds and aspirin).

The blood they originally saw on her brain is not related to what happened. It’s not a current bleed and isn’t causing any problems- just something they found incidentally.

They’re trying to pinpoint the cause so they can prevent any future strokes and will also be rechecking her cortisol levels.

I am heartbroken and in tears for my family. They are walking through something unimaginable, and we are asking for every prayer, every bit of strength, and any financial help as we try to navigate what’s ahead.

On December 4th, Jennifer and Cam had to rush their newborn baby to the hospital. At just three weeks old, their little one was admitted with RSV. In the early morning hours of December 5th, as Jennifer was holding her baby, she suddenly began having a seizure. She was taken to the ER, where doctors discovered she has a brain bleed. The hospital she is currently at is not equipped to handle this kind of emergency, so Jennifer is being transferred three hours away for specialized care. Heartbreakingly, her newborn cannot go with her. Jennifer is in critical condition, and doctors believe she will likely need brain surgery. Her family is devastated and overwhelmed by the uncertainty of what comes next.

We are asking every prayer warrior to lift Jennifer, her sweet baby, and our entire family up right now. We need God’s covering, healing, and protection more than ever. We are also asking for financial help, if you are able. The costs of travel, food, lodging, bills, and everything else that comes with a medical crisis are already becoming overwhelming. Anything you can give, no matter the amount, is a blessing beyond words. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers. May God bless you for your kindness.
