Our hearts are heavy as we come together to support Jennifer Scates and her family after the passing of her beloved husband, Emmitt Scates. After a brave and relentless battle with cancer, he leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to his family and community.

Emmitt was a devoted husband and father, a hardworking man who touched the lives of so many. He was a pillar of our community, serving on the library board and bringing joy to countless children every Christmas as Santa. His kindness, strength, and unwavering spirit will never be forgotten.
