Support for Jenna's Cancer Surgery & Recovery

UPDATE! Hello friends! We wanted to thank you all for your part in supporting Jenna over these last few months since her surgery! I realize these are trying and very different, challenging times for all of us, however I wanted to open this back up aand give you an update on Jenna!
As I type, Jenna is back at the UNC women's hospital receiving a radiation treatment. This treatment comes after the removal of her entire thyroid as well as 60+ surrounding lymph nodes. Due to the positive cancer test marking a significant number of those lymph nodes, Jenna doctor believes this radiation treatment is necessary and wise to have, to kill any cancer cells that may remain.
Thanks to the kindness and Generosity of family  we have Jenna set up in an Air BnB for the next 3 days, as she needs to remain even more strictly quarantines. However, the more she is learning today from her doctor , it seems that several more nights will now be needed.   These days without her baby by her side and her moms close help will no doubt be lonely and hard, but we know that it is just for a time!
Praying Friends, would you please pray for Jennas healing, and comfort and even for Joy in these next for days! We covet your prayers for her safety as she is away, and by herself. We covert your prayers for Sharon, her mom, who has her normal houseful of children and the baby, Jeremiah, all while running her business! I know these are busy and crazy days for all of us, however, the addition of these significant health concerns lays more heavily on our hearts and minds.

If you felt led to give  these funds would be put towards jennas stay in her air bnb and all the added costs that go along with not living at home.      The length of her stay at this air bnb May also need to be extended as more information is gathered from the radiation team.  

We appreciate any encouragement you can give Jenna during these days! A joyful heart IS good medicine too! Please help us make her heart Joyful to work along side this medication to heal her!

Update : Friends! Thanks you so very much for continuing to give! We are so thankful for the outpouring of love that continues!! Each new donation strengthens Jennas heart and mind and enables her to feel more and more settled for what lies ahead as the road and journey she takes in these next several months is unknown.  For this single mother, these dollars mean even more than you will ever know! Hello friends!  
As you may know, Jenna, is my 27 year old niece.    She has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, after her doctors found a growing nodule on her thyroid during her pregnancy.     This cancerous nodule is rather significant and requires that her entire thyroid be taken out.    Very recently she learned that some cancer has found its way to the surrounding lymph nodes. This makes the surgery a bit different and more complicated than originally expected and requires a more significant number of days in the hospital and then home recovering.   Jenna will likely be out of work several months.  As well, the Cancer Center she will be in for this surgery and recovery is nearly two hours from her, and her family's house.   This necessitates a rather lengthy hotel stay for her mom, me, and Jeremiah.   It is so important to Jenna that Jeremiah be close by and that she be able to see him during her hospital stay.     Sharon and I are committed to do our very best to stay as close to the hospital as possible with Jeremiah so that she will have the support she needs readily and close by.  
Additionally, we just found out today that the surgery which had been anticipated for March, has now been moved up to NEXT WEEK!  Leaving us with a shorter time and more urgent circumstances for which to plan and prepare!  
This Go Fund Me was created to help Jenna and Jeremiah during her surgery and  her months of recovery.   Additionally to also help her mom, Sharon , supporting the  several days she will need to be in a hotel.
 I know ANY help we can give to ease some of the financial burdens during this time  will be SO greatly appreciated!     Jenna is a hard worker and a diligent worker! No doubt she would be up and out to work before she should!   So, we want Jenna to focus on healing, and taking her time to recover as she will face radiation treatment and as her  new life long medications will need to be worked out. We wish for her to not feel financial burdens and stress during this time, but we wish for her to feel cared for and supported especially as she seeks to  care for and support her own 8 month old son.   We hope, and pray, that we can be a support to her during this time.
