Support for Jenn, Matt, and family in their time of need

Hello, My name is Jared Payne, I am Matthew Payne’s brother. His girlfriend Jenn Koontz recently underwent gallbladder surgery, a procedure that was supposed to bring relief but has instead led to serious, unexpected complications. Days after having her gallbladder removed she was transferred to Mercy Hospital in Baltimore where she was admitted to the ICU. She has had liters of toxic bile removed from her body. She currently has drain tubes in to help remove all this excess bile that her body can not currently do on its own. During this time Matt and Jenn’s Sister, Julie, have been traveling back and forth from Hagerstown to Baltimore to be with her every day and every night. This has been a huge financial strain in just gas and parking by itself. This is why I am asking for any donations that you may be able to give.

Adding to further stress, is that fact that Jenn just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl less than 2 months ago. She has missed countless little league all-star games for 2 of the boys, and has not seen her children since being in the hospital. Trying to make arrangements for family to care for this baby, and the other 5 wonderful children is a huge undertaking for them also.

Jenn has been out of work due to her pregnancy and Matt, the sole employee for a self owned company, has not been able to work while caring for Jenn in the hospital. This has led to weeks of no income all while medical bills, travel expenses, and other monthly bills have been piling up. Even when Jenn is able to go home she will require continuous care until she recovers.

I am hoping to raise money to help offset their medical, travel, food, and other monthly expenses so it is one less thing they have to worry about while Jenn recovers. It is going to be a long road to recovery for her and any amount that you could donate, no matter how small, would be appreciated more than you could know.
