Hi everyone,

We are heartbroken to share that Jen and her children Helena, Zola, and Drew are facing an unimaginable loss as they said goodbye to Andy on December 26th. In the midst of profound grief, they are also navigating the very real financial challenges that come with laying a loved one to rest and continuing to care for a growing family.

This fundraiser is intended to support Jen and the kids during this incredibly difficult season. Jen would like to support Andy’s siblings with funeral and memorial expenses, but the need extends far beyond that. As we all know, having young children comes with ongoing and often unexpected costs, many of which have become even more difficult to manage during this time.

Jen has always been someone who shows up for others. She has given so much of herself to her community - through her time, her kindness, her support, and her willingness to help whenever someone was in need. Many of us, including myself, refer to her as our “second mom”. Now, as she and her kids face one of the hardest moments of her life, we are hoping to surround her with that same care and generosity and give back in the way she has so often given to others.

Funds raised will help cover funeral and memorial costs, health insurance and medical expenses, and the everyday necessities involved in raising children. They will also support the children’s extracurricular activities, braces and other orthodontic care, school-related expenses, childcare, and other unforeseen costs.

Our hope is to ease the financial burden so Jen can focus on what matters most: caring for her children, grieving without added stress, and taking the difficult steps forward one day at a time.
