Support for Jeff Witt and family

Hi, I'm Cortney and I'm fundraising for my brother in-law, Jeff Witt, my sister Christine and niece Laina.

On Christmas Eve, Jeff was in an ATV accident, was rushed via ambulance to Wilson Hospital where he was very shortly after airlifted to Upstate University Hospital, and has been in there since. At this time we are unsure how long the recovery will actually take due to many severe injuries, but at least looking at a few months minimum.

He had surgery today on his elbow that he shattered, that will take at least 8 weeks to heal, along with his broken wrist, 6 ribs, broken vertebrae‘s in his neck and back. He also has bruised lungs, a swollen pancreas, and pretty bad road rash. He’s looking at a long very recovery, with a lot of physical therapy in his future.

Christine has been at the hospital every day since, and now will be working less to be there to help him when he's able to go home.

We are looking to raise money to help them with gas, parking fees, food, rent, household bills, insurance, and necessary medical items he will need when he gets to go home, such as a recliner so it’s easier for him to be comfortable with sitting and sleeping because he won’t be able to get into bed.

We are staying hopeful that he can be home next week for his daughter’s 3rd birthday, she misses her daddy!
