Support for Jeff Schoen and his Family

The electrophysiologist, Dr. Jeff Schoen, was for several years part of the family at St. Joseph Main Hospital in Lexington. Late last month, he moved on to take on other challenges, and we hated to see him go. To most of us who worked with him, he was destined to remain someone we loved and cared for because of how great a person and doctor he is.
Imagine our shock when we found out the tragedy that befell him and his family this past weekend. A fire broke out in the family home in Louisville, KY. Not only did it burn down the whole house, but even worse, it took the life of one of his children. May she rest in peace.
With all the challenges we are all facing due to the pandemic, to have to deal with the loss of a child in such a horrific manner is a nightmare none of us even care to contemplate. To lose the home with all of the family’s memories compounds this dreadful situation. One can only imagine what the family is going through.
That is why the Schoen family needs our support at his time. Not only our thoughts and prayers but also our material assistance. Hence this campaign.
