If you know Jean, you know this: She is the first to help, the first to give and the last to ask for anything in return. A strong, generous, hard-working woman, Jean has spent her life pouring into others with both her time and her resources - never hesitating, never counting the cost. Today, Jean is the one who needs help. Jean is currently working hard to care for herself and her son Michael. Over the past year, her life has been turned upside down by an unexpected cancer diagnosis. In May 2025, Jean was diagnosed with Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma - a rare and aggressive form of liver cancer. Though caught early by God’s grace, her journey has included chemotherapy, radiation, hospitalizations, sepsis, blood clots and her treatments continue. As medical bills have mounted and time away from work has increased, her savings have been drained, leaving her facing a significant financial burden - when what she needs is peace, rest and strength to heal. Those of us writing this - Thalia and Vickie - have known Jean for over 35 years. Over time, she has become more than family by marriage; she is our true sister in every way. We love her deeply and it’s our prayer that we can now help carry her the way she has carried so many others. We ask most of all for prayers and if you feel led to give in any other way, we are deeply grateful.
