My brother is a talented jazz singer and a proud Air Force veteran who recently took a year off work to travel and pursue his passion for music. As his hiatus was coming to an end, he was actively interviewing for new jobs and had received several offers, eagerly awaiting a start date. However, his plans were abruptly interrupted when he suffered heart failure. He was first taken to Reston Hospital and then airlifted to Fairfax Hospital, where he has remained in the ICU for over three weeks, enduring three major surgeries and numerous procedures.

The mounting medical bills are overwhelming, especially since he does not have insurance. We are working tirelessly to get him registered for Medicare, but the process has been complicated by difficulties in locating his military service records, despite his six years of service in the Air Force. Our family is doing everything we can, but the financial burden is quickly becoming unmanageable. Besides praying, we simply do not have the resources to cover the ever-increasing debt that is amassing.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward my brother’s medical bills, upcoming therapy, and essential living expenses such as apartment rent, car payments, and daily needs. This support will help sustain him until he is able to recover and return to work. Any financial assistance is greatly appreciated, and thoughts and prayers are always welcomed. After writing this, I can honestly say that I have tried everything I can think of to help my brother, and now I am reaching out to the community for support.
