Jayce needs heart surgery much sooner than we expected. We thought we would have months to prepare, but just learned the surgery is scheduled for February 3rd in Salt Lake, giving us only two weeks to get ready. The sudden timing means we have no time to save for the trip, and I will need to miss work to be with Jayce during and after the surgery. This is putting a lot of stress on our household bills, and the long recovery period will mean missing even more work.

We have learned that we are unable to stay in a Ronald mcdonald house and while we have looked into things like medicaid assistance and the Jason deluca fund, they are thing that reimburse and can take months in order to return the money back to us.

The funds raised will help cover travel to Salt Lake, loging in a hotel, food while we are there, and household bills during Jayce's recovery. This support will help us focus on his health and healing without the added worry of financial strain. I am doing everything I can to be there for Jayce, but the financial burden is more than I can manage alone.
