Support for Jay & Lex

Update: Jay and the rest of the family are not looking to reach a specific goal amount, rather this page is set up so everyone who has expressed a wish to support in this way, and in lieu of flowers has the opportunity to do so. 

On Friday May 13th, our artistic, contrarian, and wickedly quick witted Alexia Metz was able to finally get rest after a long battle with health issues. We know many from all over have been touched by Alexia, known to us as Lex, and we have received an overwhelming amount of love and support. We have created this page because many are not able to be physically close and have shown interest in supporting Jay during this difficult time. The money collected will go towards expenses accrued throughout and after Lex's lengthy health battle. True to Jay's nature, he did better than his best to juggle work and caring and supporting for his beloved wife of almost 19 years. Anything donated is very much appreciated by Jay. As Alexia's loved ones we want to thank you all for your love and support during this difficult and heartbreaking time. Lex was loved and will be missed but we are comforted by the thought that she is no longer suffering and in pain.
