On July 29, 2025, we lost Lester “Jay” Foreman, a loving partner, devoted father, son, and friend, who passed away peacefully in his sleep at 46 years old.

Whether he was cheering on the Detroit Lions with his daughter Kali or adventuring through video games with his daughter Luci, Jay gave his full heart to the people he loved. He worked hard for over 20 years at American Gas & Oil Co., and dedicated his time to supporting his family and friends and making them smile.

Jay leaves behind his partner, Amber Hoonhorst; his children, Kali, Luci, and Casper; his parents, Lu Ann Oke and Lester Foreman; his aunt Dee; and his sassy cat, Taco. His unexpected passing has left a hole in their hearts as well as financial burdens during this incredibly difficult time.

This fundraiser is to help Jay’s family with immediate support as they begin to navigate life without him. Any amount helps and is deeply appreciated.
