On Thursday, June 25th, 2026, tragedy struck our community when 19-year-old Javion Clinton was shot and killed in South Jackson. The Jackson Police Department is working tirelessly to find those responsible for this heartbreaking crime. His loss has left his family and friends devastated.
Javion had recently graduated from Forest Hill High School in May and had just started a new job at the Coca-Cola Warehouse. He was known for his intelligence, sense of humor, and loving nature. His future was bright, and he brought so much joy to everyone who knew him. The pain of losing someone so young and full of promise is unimaginable, and his family is now facing the overwhelming task of saying goodbye far too soon.
(I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my lifelong friend and her family with their permission. During this unimaginable time, I’m helping manage this fundraiser so they can focus on grieving and honoring their son. Every dollar raised will go directly toward funeral expenses and supporting the family during this difficult season.)
During this unimaginable time, our family is grieving a loss that no parent should ever have to endure. We are asking for your prayers, kindness, and support as we navigate the heartbreaking days ahead. Every donation, share, prayer, and encouraging word means more than we can express and helps lighten a burden that feels impossible to carry alone. We are deeply grateful for the love and compassion that has already been shown to us. Thank you for standing with our family, surrounding us with support, and helping us honor and lay our precious son to rest. Your generosity and kindness will never be forgotten.
