Jason Lee, Jericho High School Class of 2019 and a current senior and Exercise Science major at SUNY Cortland, was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. He is getting the best treatment and care at Memorial Sloan Kettering, but it will not be an easy road.
Jason will be often traveling into Manhattan for testing, medical procedures and treatments. We don't want Jason or his parents, Dab and John, to worry about anything but getting Jason healthy. This fundraiser will help ease their burden.
Jason’s professor at SUNY Cortland said it best. “One thing's clear: Jason's still got a whole lot left to do in this lifetime. Not only that, but we need someone like him to progress the field of science, to encourage us in our health and fitness goals, and to be that driving (and always smiling) force of inspiration we've all come to love and rely on. We need Jason. Right now, Jason needs us. We need to be JStrong.”
The Lee family are fixtures in the Jericho community. Dab Lee has been an active Jericho community member since she moved to Jericho when Jason was in kindergarten. Dab was PTA president, School Board trustee, CAJ president, and a member of every Jericho committee you can name. Her family is her first love and Jericho her second.
There is still a lot we don’t know yet, but what we do know is that Jason is surrounded by an incredible support system: all of you. We created this GoFundMe to help our dear friends cover Jason’s cancer treatments and any related expenses. Please help us support the Lee Family with donations and prayers. Any help is deeply appreciated.
