*UPDATE!*

I want to extend a tremendous thank you to those who donated to the go fund me for my father, we were able to cover his funeral costs & give him the best burial & I can’t describe how much that means to my brothers and I. This has been the most difficult time of our lives, but all of the love and support we have received has helped in so many ways.

I am resharing this go fund me just as a potential further support for financial hardships my brothers and I are facing at this time. There are things we have to work out with my father’s estate, and figure out how we’re going to move forward and go about his home. We do not expect anyone to donate or continue donating, we are seriously so grateful for everything everyone has already done, this is just going to be up incase anyone would like to share it to more people or donate at all, God bless all of you ❣️ Thank you so much again.

Our father, Jason Carter, passed away suddenly yesterday. We are still trying to process the shock of it. This has been one of the most heartbreaking and overwhelming seasons of our lives, and we’re doing everything we can to support one another through it.

My dad struggled with alcoholism for most of my life, and that’s part of our story. But it’s not the whole of who he was. At his core, he was kind, gentle, and unbelievably generous. He would give his last dollar to someone who needed it. He taught me to do the same — to show up for people, to be loyal, and to give without expecting anything in return. Even when his own world must have felt unbearably heavy, he never stopped caring about others. He loved being a father more than anything. He worked hard to provide for us as a single dad for most of my life, and he carried that responsibility with pride. If he knew you, you were family. There was always a seat at his table and a place for you in his life. It has been painful to watch addiction take pieces of him over the years. He was a good man who fought battles many people never saw. I truly believe he deserved peace, and I pray that wherever he is now, he feels nothing but love and rest. He shaped so much of who I am, and I know a part of me — and of my brothers — will always belong to him.

We are reaching out for help to cover funeral expenses, mortgage payments, and to help my brothers and me stay afloat as we navigate this sudden loss. This financial burden is more than we can carry alone right now. If you feel led to give or share, it would mean more to us than we can express.
