UPDATE.. I received this text from Jason’s mom today and thought we could all pull together and help them out with these recent developments …

..An update on Jason: Late Thursday January 15th Jason had a major seizure. He went to Morton by ambulance and they had to intubate him. They transported him to Mass General by ambulance around 3:00am Friday morning to the ICU. We found out he had covid and pneumonia due to the covid. They believe the covid caused the seizure. He did not show signs of covid at home. He only had a little cough. The tube came out a day later and they were able to send him to Lunder bldg. room 820. He has had a couple of small seizure since.
Jason gets very confused and is weaker than he was prior to the seizure.
When they think Jason is stable enough they are going to transport him to Spaulding Rehabilitation for a couple of weeks.
Jayne is the best wife a guy could ever ask for and the best daughter in law we could ever dream of having.
Angela is the best sister Jason could ask for and the most amazing daughter we could ever have.
Angela and Jayne have not been able to work in order to be an advocate for Jason. He needed 24/7 care before this all happened and he will definitely need it when he is able to go home again.
Mannie and I are so grateful we are retired and are able to be here for Jason and Jayne, their children and their grandson Arthur.
The good news is Jason is in the best hands we could ask for.
We talked to Jason on the phone for a few minutes this morning and he seemed much more oriented.
Jason wants his friends and family to know where he is so that's why I am updating everyone.
With love ❤️ Diane (mom)
Please feel free to share this with anyone you think should know.
P.S. This is the short version. Lol

As some of you know, Jason was taken into the hospital not feeling well with what quickly escalated into a diagnosis of a brain tumor. In a weeks time, He has been hospitalized this week and then
undergone brain surgery at St. Elizabeth's in Boston,
and is working with a great team from The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and I am told that he is positive and in good spirits. However, given the circumstances, he and Jayne have a long road of recovery ahead of them and the least we can do is try to provide some financial support to help them along the way. Jason and Jayne have been there for so many people over the years. I think it goes without saying that we all want to help in any way we can so they can focus on nothing more than kicking Cancer's ass and navigating this with their family . My husband once said.. "Jason and Jayne lead from the back, and they are the most humble and amazing people I know".. Lets do what we can to help this amazing family..
