Dear Friends & Family,

On Wednesday, October 22nd, Jason went to the urgent care as he wasn't feeling well. He was later admitted to the ER and rushed in for surgery where they found a mass in his large intestine. On Friday, they took a biopsy to determine the exact type of cancer (colon/rectal/colorectal - still pending). But the results received thus far are dire, with a confirmed diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer.

Jason is currently at home recovering for 4 weeks waiting to hear from the doctors as they get closer to 4 weeks. Jason is surrounded by His wife Emily, son Brookson who is 6 years old and currently in first grade. Daughter Brynlea, 4 years old and Beckett who is 3 years old..Jason is also surrounded by his family and close friends. His positive attitude has exceeded all expectations. His #1 priority will always be his family, doing whatever he can to support others first, and he's somehow still smiling and putting on a brave face.

Jason's road to recovery is still undetermined, but preliminary plans include chemotherapy to shrink his tumor, and surgery thereafter. As you can imagine, the medical bills, rehabilitation, and adjustments will be taxing, and Jason, Emily, and their family will need all the support they can receive during this challenging time.
