Support for Jared Brown & his Service dog
Donation protected

I will use the donations in several ways. The money will allow me to buy a puppy, and get all the needed vaccinations, etc., and required veterinarian care of now and in the future. I am working with a company called Dog Training Elite. The initial training requires that I go to Sandy, Utah, for eight Saturdays and then to the facility in Salt Lake City, Utah for four more weeks. After that the trainer will come to our home for training sessions. My goal is to have my dog trained to do all of the skills that the company provides and that I have the funding for. I am hoping to get the "Platinum" plan that includes 12 one-on-one sessions, and in-home training sessions. It also includes one year of group park training sessions.
The Platinum is about $3000 dollars for the initial training. My hope is to buy a doodle mix, such as a golden doodle or labradoodle. They typically cost between $2500 to $3500. I prefer this choice over buying a fully trained puppy. I like the idea of knowing the dog "from the beginning".
I would like to raise about $12,000 dollars. This will allow me to pay for all costs involved with getting, training, and providing for the dog without needing to rely on my family for financial support.
I would like to keep a small balance in my account for unanticipated expenses, and I will donate excess funds to the Epilepsy Foundation, which is a non-profit located in Maryland.
The Education First Credit Union is working with me to handle donations in an account designated for that purpose.
I will be very cautious with the use of donations. This will be a game-changer in my life and folks will never know how much it means to me. Thank you in advance.
