Janelle Thomas is my wife, my best friend, and the heart of our family. For 15 years, we have built a life together filled with love, laughter, and beautiful memories while raising our five children. Janelle has always been the glue that holds us together — a loving mother, a devoted wife, and the kind of person who would do anything for the people she loves.

Our lives changed in an instant when Janelle suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest. She is now in the ICU on a ventilator after sustaining a severe brain injury caused by lack of oxygen. We are facing every family's worst nightmare — watching someone we love fight for her life while trying to stay strong for our children through fear, heartbreak, and so much uncertainty.

Janelle has spent 23 years working as a dental assistant, helping others with compassion and dedication while always putting her family first. She loves gardening, cooking, caring for her children, and making our house a home. She is the center of our world, and right now our family feels completely shaken and lost.

As I remain by Janelle’s side and do everything I can to care for our five children, we are asking for help with overwhelming medical expenses, household bills, food, and the basic needs of getting through each day during this crisis. Missing work to be with my wife and children has made this burden even heavier.
