At the beginning of March, Mike started feeling ill. He was admitted for additional tests and then transferred to Abbott for advanced testing, along with several surgeries. He ended up receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis which turned Mike & Janelle's world upside down. The cancer was so advanced that treatment wasn't an option. Mike passed away on 3/24/26 at the young age of 64. The news has brought emotional and financial challenges during this difficult time.

Over the last month, Janelle has been staying in a hotel to allow her to be by Mike's side while he underwent testing and several surgeries. Mike's sudden diagnosis brought unexpected travel & medical expenses, along with the time off work. While this journey has had its challenges, it has also reminded us of the incredible strength that comes from community, compassion, prayers and support.
