Support for Jamielee Kellar and Leanne

Story

On Saturday December 18th heaven gained another angel, Jamie Kellar. Jamie left us suddenly. He was 64. He had a massive heart attack after snow blowing the driveway. He seemed fine all day. He was out grocery shopping then picking up some Christmas stuff for Jamielee. He decided to wait for the snow to stop and do the drives. Jamie was known to sit in the garage and watch his sports and talk to many people going by. At 6:45pm he was talking with neighbours, everything was great. He came in around 7 everything was good. He went to the basement to watch a bit of tv. Not once did he complain of any pains or shortness off breath. We went down around 8 to see if he was hungry and found him on the washroom floor. We tried everything to bring him back..we couldn’t. Jamie just celebrated being 5 years cancer free in Oct. he had prostate cancer. He worried more about Jamielee’s health more than his own. That is what a great father does. Jamie lost his daughter Christine (35) suddenly in July and has struggled with this. She left behind his grandson Braydon (9). Jamie was selfless when it came to our daughter Jamielee (15). Jamielee has a brain tumour and NF1 (neurofibromatosis type 1) which is tumours of the nervous system. She has been on/off of chemo since 2012. We were beside ourselves as we found out her tumour grew again and has to start a new chemo on Dec 23. Jamie was her pillar of strength! He was an amazing husband, father, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend to many. We have started this gofundme page to try to help lightened the burden and to help Jamielee in future. One of the hardest things is there were no good byes. He will be missed so much each and everyday. I love you Jamie…we will get Jamielee thru this. I know you will watch over her everyday. We can do this. Leanne
