Support for Jamie and Chris

In April 2014, our friend Jamie Phelps was diagnosed with stage 4 colon, liver and lung. Jamie has been open about her journey since the very early stages. Jamie continues to be one of the most positive, inspiring human beings that we have ever met. This young woman has undergone 9 major surgeries and countless rounds of chemotherapy while always fighting with a smile on her face. Jamie has been supported by her amazing husband Chris Phelps; he has remained her number one rock throughout this battle. She also has an army of countless family members and friends who stand with and behind her.
Jamie has a passion for design. She has continued her love for antiquing and quality home décor by searching for and discovering treasures that others will love and add to their homes. Jamie has also been very open about her diagnosis and shared much of her journey through her previous blog youngfemalecancer and her instragram page for the_sweetest_vintage.
As a friendship group we are setting up this GoFundMe page to help support Jamie. Recently the latest scan showed her liver tumor grew to 9 cm with new mets on both her lungs. The doctors have stopped chemo and radiation is not an option. At present Jamie is trying to get on a trial at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto. As we know that anyone who has had a loved one in the hospital understands that there are enormous costs associated with this. Some of these includes parking, gas, food, overnight stays, just to name a few. We ask that any contribution would be of help for this amazing couple and make their lives just that little bit easier.
