Our hearts are shattered.

Yesterday, 2/21/26, Jami and Justin lost their precious newborn baby girl, Raelyn Brooks.

There are no words that can make sense of this sudden loss. No parent is ever prepared — emotionally, physically, or financially — to bury their child. The shock is overwhelming. The grief is unimaginable.

Jami is the one who adopts families at Christmas so children wake up to joy they wouldn’t otherwise have. She and her family have always provided care packages for the veterans.

And now, she and her little family are facing their own darkest moment.

Raelyn’s brother and sister are trying to understand why their baby sister isn’t coming home. They don’t understand why everything changed this morning. They just know their world feels different.

Jami and Justin have always shown up when others were in need. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and relieve the immediate financial burden so this family can focus on grieving, loving one another, and honoring sweet Raelyn’s life.
