Support for James while he recovers from surgery
Donation protected
Hi friends,
Asking for help in these times when things are so expensive and there is so much need everywhere these days is a challenge. My brother James has always been quick to help others. He is a kind soul who drives a school bus and is much loved by kids and families in the community. He is well-liked by his co-workers and is someone who is known for his hilarious sense of humour, good heart, and ability to devour crime novels at a phenomenal rate. A few weeks ago, James had a critical emergency surgery. The time it will take for him to recover and regain strength and mobility will be substantial. Unfortunately, on top of that, he then contracted hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP). Even after the pneumonia gets under control, he will still have an extended stay in a rehabilitation hospital. He is considered a part-time worker and the months of being out of work are going to make a really difficult impact on his finances. His wife Darlene underwent an organ transplant a few years ago and her health issues keep her at home also. Combined, these circumstances are going to make paying rent a big worry.
If we could help them make things a little smoother for a bit, that would enable the new, healthier and stronger version of 'James 2.0' to focus on getting better. It's going to take a while, but he is working hard at it. Any donation would be helpful and gratefully accepted.
Thanks for reading, and considering if you have a bit that could make things a little kinder for a good guy going through a rough patch. If you feel comfortable sharing if right now isn't that time, that would be super kind too.We hope your summer is full of warm breezes and that you and yours are safe, happy, and well. As always, we love you all.
