Hello,

I am creating this fundraiser to support my parents as my father goes through cancer treatment. He has had colon cancer and beat it, and now has prostate cancer. Watching someone you love navigate this journey is incredibly hard, and while we are doing everything we can as a family and, of course, trusting God, the financial weight of treatment, appointments, and related care adds another layer of stress during this heavy season. Medicare pays a portion; however, they are responsible for the remaining balance.

Both of my parents are senior citizens, and my mom also lives with chronic back issues that limit her ability to work consistently. Because of their health challenges, they are often unable to work often enough to cover all of the medical and household expenses that continue to come up during this time. They are on Social Security and Disability, so their income is very limited when it comes to expenses.

The funds raised will go toward medical expenses, the treatment support (45 days projected over the duration of 5 days a week), and easing the overall burden so my parents can focus on healing, rest, and day-to-day stability.
