It is with heavy heart that I share the passing of my husband, James Portillo. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, coach and friend. Jimmy was known for being a provider and taking care of his family, helping a friend or anyone in need, being Mr. Fix It and speaking his mind. Losing him so unexpectedly in a tragic accident has left everyone who knew him devastated.

We’re starting this GoFundMe to help support myself and son Romelo with the unexpected costs associated with this loss, including funeral expenses, memorial service, and monthly expenses. Any amount—big or small—will make a meaningful difference during this incredibly difficult time. Jimmy would always help whoever he could whenever they needed it and now we’re reaching out for help during this extremely difficult time.
