James and Jessica Burks are dear friends who are facing an incredibly challenging time. James (otherwise known as Jeter to many) has been unable to work for the last 4 months as he prepares for surgery to remove a brain tumor. The surgery will occur March 20th, 2026, and will be followed by an undetermined amount of recovery time. Leading up to the surgery, James and Jessica are navigating a series of medical appointments, including endocrinology visits, MRIs, and CT scans, all while managing the emotional and financial stress that come with such a diagnosis.
James and Jessica are confident in the medical team caring for them. They are grateful for the love and support of their friends and family. The reality is, the loss of income and mounting medical expenses have created a significant financial strain.
This fundraiser is to help James and Jessica cover their living expenses and medical bills while James is unable to work and they focus on his treatment and recovery. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease their burden and allow them to concentrate on healing. Thank you for standing with James and Jessica during this difficult chapter and for showing them the strength of their community. It means the world to them.
