Supporting James, Chloe and their three beautiful children
I’m setting up this page on behalf of my lovely friends Chloe and James who are unfortunately facing an incredibly difficult time as a family.
Since September 2024 James has been faced with life altering illnesses heavily impacting his daily life. After finally overcoming a gruelling 41 seizures in the space of three months, James was dealt another cruel hand and has been battling serious kidney complications. There is a mass blocking James’s kidney from draining properly which is causing immense pain and danger to his day to day life. Multiple attempts and failed procedures now mean that James is left with a stent and nephrostomy bag while he awaits his next surgery to properly remove the obstruction and resolve the issue.
In the meantime, James is up against multiple infections and hospital admissions and yet there is still no light at the end of the tunnel as he still has no known surgery date.
This new expected normal for James and the family is causing an incredible amount of emotional, physical and financial strain.
As a self employed plasterer, James is battling daily to work in order to earn and provide for his family, however, this is strongly advised against in his condition and only leads to further set backs and hospital admissions. With no financial support, his options seem painfully non existent.
Chloe and James are incredibly resilient and have faced this with the upmost determination as such a loving team.
However, despite doing everything right, and always working incredibly hard, they have fallen into a gap where support simply isn’t available to them.
Chloe has recently returned to her position as a primary school teacher from maternity leave and is desperately doing all she can to keep them afloat. Sadly, this alone just isn’t enough.
I’m asking on their behalf, for any support you may be able to give to help ease the pressure and allow them to focus on a full recovery for James. Support right now would allow them to continue to protect their gorgeous children from the weight of this situation, keeping their world as safe, stable and normal as possible.
Any small donation would make the world of difference in easing the financial pressures they are under. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean just as much. Every bit of support, kindness and encouragement will help this loving family keep their spirit alive.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read their story and for any help you can give
