On March 4, 2020 James Cook, 32, of Bobcaygeon Ontario was the victim of a tragic propane explosion. He sustained life-altering burns to his face, neck, head, back, chest, arms and hands.
3rd degree buns have devastated more than 50% of his body. 1st and 2nd degree burns cover most of the rest.
James was airlifted to Sunnybrook hospital and was kept in an induced coma until early April while receiving skin grafts. He has already endured seven major operations to date and continues to be hospitalized.
James faces a long, difficult journey in the months and years ahead.
