Support for Jalyah's Family

I am Arlain Thompson Jalyah’s grandmother. Please join with family and friends who have lost a beautiful girl far too soon. Jalyah Noel Thompson is now resting in the arms of Jesus. Heartbroken, we want others to know that with more kindness and less bullying Jalyah would still be with us today. Jalyah left us at eleven-and-one-half years-old far, far too early to seek and reach her desire to become a nail technician. True to girls her age, Jalyah wore pink, loved Hello Kitty fashion, gave attention to her hair and nails, took many selfies, listened to Billy Eilish and Sza and spent time poolside in Chicago with best friend, Devon.

Jalyah, we love you and miss you. And we are saddened that evil took you before you grew into the wonderful person that we, who were close to you, could see.

Jalyah is survived by her father, Lewis Anthony Thompson, brother, Michael Trevino, sister, Jada Trevino; grandmother, Arlain Thompson and great aunt, Willie Taylor. She was pre-deceased by her mother, Kendall Noel Trevino.
