Support for Jake Sheldon After Motorcycle Accident

Donation protected
On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Sgt. Jacob ‘Jake’ Sheldon, a 23-year-old Army veteran, was struck from behind while riding his motorcycle through southern Arizona. Jake had just completed his service in the US Army and was traveling east to meet friends at a national park when tragedy struck near Gila Bend. The details of the accident are still unclear, but Jake’s family suspects the driver who hit him attempted to flee the scene and was not charged. Jake is now unconscious and fighting for his life on life-support in a Goodyear, Arizona hospital.

Jake began his love for motorcycles at age 4 in Fort Bragg, CA, riding in the rain on his grandfather’s property. Motorcycles have always been a part of Jake’s life, bringing him joy and a sense of freedom. His passion for riding grew as he got older, and it became a way for him to connect with friends and family.

Jake is not only a dedicated soldier, but also a beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend. His kindness and loyalty have touched the lives of many, and his family and friends are rallying together to support him during this incredibly difficult time.

Jake’s friends and family are launching this GoFundMe campaign to support him and his loved ones. The funds raised will help Jake’s out-of-town parents cover the cost of lodging and daily expenses as they stay by his side. Additionally, donations will go toward current and future medical expenses, and will help raise awareness of Jake’s situation in hopes of bringing forward any witnesses to the accident. Your support will ensure Jake receives the justice and care he deserves.

Please consider making a financial contribution and sharing this campaign with your circle of friends and loved ones. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference for Jake and his family. Thank you for your kindness and support.
