Support For Jake and Verene’s Apartment Fire

Hi Guys,

We normally don’t do this, but Verene and I have had quite the incident yesterday. Our apartment caught on fire Wednesday 7/6 due to an explosion to the apartment next door to us in Chicago, IL. Both Verene and I are fine and luckily nobody else was seriously hurt, but the ensuing fire resulted to damage to nearly all of our belongings.

We are currently left without a home and are in a state of limbo as we wait for answers through our insurance company. We’re asking for any help as we work to replace all of our personal belongings (clothes, kitchen supplies, furniture, bed, appliances, etc.) and try to piece back together our lives.

We appreciate any help and prayers you can send our way as we could really use them in this difficult time.
