On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, Jairo was home with his family when he suddenly collapsed in the kitchen. Jairo’s fiance Kyesha was able to break his fall and thought quickly to lay him on his side as he seized. 911 was called and Jairo was taken to RI Hospital. After many tests and MRIs, Jairo’s family has been informed he had to undergo emergency surgery to remove a brain stent. Since his admission to the Neuro ICU, Jairo suffered 14 seizures and another stroke. His family has been advised he will be hospitalized for some time as he fights through recovery.

Jairo is a father to two children, Jaiden-13 & Riley-5. He is a hardworking family man who has been a loving and dependable partner to Kyesha for the last 17 years.

Through this recovery, Jairo will be hospitalized and undergo a series of procedures that unfortunately will not all be covered through insurance and will inadvertently place financial hardship on Kyesha. Your support throughout his journey to recovery would help immensely!
