Our beloved Jaime Escalante has recently passed on March, 9th 2025. He was a wonderful father, husband, and friend to many. He leaves behind his wife Marina, and sons Richard, Jaime, Little Richard, and Anthony.

For those who had the privilege of knowing Jaime, aka "Pops", the term hardworking is an understatement. There was nothing he couldn't do when he put his mind to it, and he lived a life dedicated to his family. His hilarious jokes and hearty laughs would rule any room, and his joy for life was infectious. The world will truly never be the same without him in it, and I believe we all are forever better from knowing him.

We are all absolutely devastated by this loss, and it was very sudden and unexpected. We are ill prepared for the expenses associated with this incredibly hard time and are seeking support from those who had the pleasure of knowing Jaime and the beautiful family he created.

I am asking for donations on behalf of the Escalante family. What is raised will go toward the funeral service and cremation of Jaime, as well as support for his family during this difficult time. We need to raise at least $7,000 by March 22nd in order to afford the funeral and be able to give Jaime the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. The additional funds are to help and support his family because he is no longer around to do so.
