Hi All:
As you all may know, one of our brothers has been going through alot. Jahrod's father Kendell, has had an ongoing battle with cancer, with many up's and downs in the process.
For those who know Jahrod, he is easily one of the most genuine and best people we know. His constant upbeat presence brings light to a room when sometimes there is none. The least we can do is get together and help him and his family.
In support of Kendell and his battle, we will be hosting a 3 on 3 basketball tournament at Wagner Middle School.
The tournament will be on December 3rd from 4:00-7:00 Pm.
Wagner is located on:
220 E 76th St, New York, NY 10021 (Btwn 2nd & 3rd Ave)
Food and music will be provided, as well as the opportunity to bid on autographed sports memorbilia.
Entrance will be $20.00 to get in, which grants tournament eligbility as well as a food voucher.
100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Lide family.
This money raised from the gofundme campaign as well as the tournament will help the family with existing medical bills, and give some financial stability through a very tough time.
It would mean alot to them, to show they have a huge support system behind them. All help is appreciated, and we look forward to having a very successful event for the Lide's.
