Our names are Star and Jahson Castillo, and we are reaching out with heavy hearts after the sudden loss of our precious son, Jahlil Andre Castillo. Jahlil was only 2 months old—a perfectly healthy, joyful baby who brought so much light into our lives. Tragically, he was taken from us without warning due to SIDS. Our family is devastated, especially his older brother, Jahson Castillo Jr., who is just 1 year old and misses him dearly. Jahlil was loved by so many, and his absence has left a void that words cannot describe.

This loss comes at an especially difficult time, as my grandmother also passed away recently. We hope to lay Jahlil to rest beside her, so he can be close to family even in his final resting place. The costs of a funeral and burial are overwhelming, and we are struggling to find the means to give Jahlil the beautiful farewell he deserves.

As parents, our hearts are aching. We come to you humbly, asking for help during this unimaginable time. Every day, we fight to stay strong for our surviving son, but the weight of this loss and the financial strain are heavy.
