Support for Jaguars Taumatic Brain Injury

Hello to all who are here and reading my story. Thank you for taking your time, I appreciate it greatly. My name is Stephanie and I am the mother of Jaguar. Sadly, on February 6th he flatlined for an unknown amount of time. He is currently on life support at a hospital in Red Bluff, CA. The doctors are doing all they can here to assess his level of brain damage but at this point it is a waiting game.

To know Jag is to know fun, laughter, and joy. He brings a light and energy to any room he walks into. He is loved by so many from the East Coast to the West Coast because Jag is not one to stay long in one place. He is 26 years young and has a million dollar smile.

We are asking for donations to help for flights to rotate certain family members, but especially his sister, to come from Kansas for the mental and emotional support. I need assistance with food, hotels, and car rental. Also, for time missed at work and help pay the bills back home while I stay by Jag's side. We are working with the social worker to provide alternative solutions for us while we are out here, too. Update 2/10/2024

We have been approved for a transfer to a larger hospital with an MRI machine and neurologist on staff. This will hopefully show the severity of the injury. However, we are waiting for a bed to become available.

Update 2/12/2024

Jag has been on sedation to make him as comfortable as possible. Hopefully, this can help him heal. He has also been life-flighted to another hospital but this is a good thing. This hospital is filled with neuro nurses and the MRI scanner we need to best serve Jag's needs. We are definitely moving in the right direction for the answers we need.
