Honoring the Life of Our Beautiful Mother, Jackie Ann Slagle
Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye to our mother, Jackie, the woman who was the light in every room and the strength behind our family.
She was a woman of unwavering faith, with a deep devotion to her family, her loved ones, and her Lord. Her strength and resilience were unlike anything we’ve ever known. She carried so much on her shoulders, always choosing to be strong for others, even when it was hard for her to give that same love to herself.
Our mom lived a life full of challenges, more than most could endure, but she never let that dim her light. She had a way of lighting up any room she walked into. She was the kind of person who could make friends anywhere, whether it was at a party or even in a hospital room. She truly was the life of every space she entered.
For the past 10 years, she fought her illness with incredible courage, in and out of hospitals. And yet, through it all, she still managed to smile on most days, showing us what true strength and grace look like.
Because of unexpected insurance delays and circumstances surrounding final arrangements, we are facing a longer waiting period before we are able to lay our mother to rest. During this time, our family has had to step away from work and daily responsibilities to navigate these arrangements, adding to the financial strain we are experiencing.
As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we are also faced with the financial burden of giving her the service she deserves. We are hoping to raise $14,000 to help cover funeral expenses and support our family during this time, so we can honor her life in a way that reflects the love, light, and strength she gave so freely to others.
If you are able, we humbly ask for any support—whether through a donation or by sharing this page. Every bit helps lift some of the weight from our family during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
With gratitude,
The Slagle Family
We love and miss you dearly
edit: the service date listed on this fundraiser is not reflective of the actual date set for her service. We unfortunately cannot set a date until expenses are paid in full. An update will be posted when the date is finalized. Thank you.
