Support for Jack and the Williams Family

We would like to share the story of an intelligent, strong and handsome young man named Jackson Williams. Jackson is 19 years old and recently graduated from Zionsville Community High School in Indiana. He is not only an amazing son, brother and friend, he is academically inclined, athletic and musically talented with limitless capabilities and a very bright future. Jackson also works to give back  to his community, and has taken part in mission work outside of the US.

In March of 2019 Jackson was busy finishing his senior year and getting ready to take on his next steps at the College of Engineering at Purdue University (which was in fact his top choice!) when he suddenly became quite ill, and a couple of weeks later the Williams family received devastating news that Jackson had cancer. He was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Since the time of his diagnosis, Jackson has been receiving treatment at a local hospital in Indiana and has been responding to therapy. However, due to unforeseen complications, Jackson learned that he would need to be transferred to the care of a specialist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and would need to relocate there in order to do so. 

Last week Jackson and his Dad, Greg, packed up and made the trek east to find housing and continue with treatment. Jackson will need to be under the care of the CHOP team for the next 5 months. Although he is currently doing well, it is going to be an intense and difficult road ahead. The apartment they have found will hopefully serve as an urban oasis for Jackson during his treatment and recovery. However, housing in Philadelphia is quite expensive, so the costs add up. Jackson's mother, Kristina, and sister, Geneva, are hoping to fly in from Indiana to be with Jackson as often as possible, but this too, is very costly.


We are kindly asking that those who can contribute, even the smallest amount, to please assist the Williams family during this challenging time by making a donation to help pay for their housing and travel. There is no donation too small (as every penny counts) and would go a long way in helping this family not only get the care for their son that he desperately needs, but also to be there to love and support him along the way, as any family would want to do.
