Hello Family & Friends!
As many of you may know, I am an avid dog lover, rescue advocate and dog foster parent. I do my very best in helping out dogs in need. Currently, we are fostering 2 puppies who are not affiliated with a rescue because every rescue and shelter is FULL and OVER CAPACITY with homeless puppies and dogs in need. So this means that all the medical costs, food, supplies and spay and neuter costs land on private folks who can't turn away.
Jack and Jill are 3 month old siblings who were dumped on top of a hill. They were rescued by kind hearted folks who couldn't turn away. Together, we have saved them from illness, got them cleaned up, socialized, and ready for new homes, but this all comes at a monetary cost.
This is my first ever gofundme ask and it takes a lot for me to ask for help, but I can't do this alone. I need help from the greater community to care about the unwanted and voiceless beings who are in need due to no fault of their own.
Every dollar counts and this money would go to the following specific needs:
-$325 to cover for transport for Jack to go to his forever home to OR from TX
-$200 for vaccines
-$600 for medical treatment
-$225 for food
-$150 for Interstate Health Certificate (needed for travel to out of state)
-$125 for spay
-$125 for neuter
-Additional miscellaneous needs like toys, collars, leashes, bowls, blankets etc.
I want to help as many animals in need as I possibly can and I have many critters at home already that I have promised to care for, but I need help with my fosters and hope that the folks I am friends with can see how important it is to help others whenever we can.
Please consider supporting our foster work and help spread the word about fostering and adoption. It takes a village.
Thank you in advance for your support and kind words.
Best,
Basia (on behalf of foster puppies, Jack and Jill)
