Our sweet 12-year-old nephew, Jace is currently facing a challenge no child should have to endure. He was recently hospitalized for sudden, unexpected kidney failure and diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease. Doctors are still running tests to find out exactly what’s causing his condition and how best to treat it. For now, Jace will remain hospitalized to be closely monitored.

His parents, Josh and Saylor, are overwhelmed with calls and messages and are asking everyone to please hold off on contact for now and they will post updates as they can. You can also contact me or my husband Eric with any questions. Josh & Saylor are focusing on everything they can to support him, but the situation has stretched them thin and they are overwhelmed. The constant back and forth between the hospital and home is exhausting, and they’re spending much more than expected on travel, meals, and daily needs. On top of that, they have another son, Ethan, at home who needs care and attention as well. The financial strain is growing, and the medical bills are still unknown.
