On Oct. 7, while everyone was still asleep on a holiday (Sukkot) morning in Israel, Hamas launched an unprecedented terror attack targeting innocent civilians in their homes in the south of Israel. A very large group of terrorists penetrated Israel via air, sea and land while firing over 3,000 rockets at all southern and central cities, reaching Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and more.
Hundreds of people have died and thousands have been injured or taken hostage. Many WalkMe Team Members or their family members have been drafted or called to active duty. This is the biggest attack on Israel in the past 50 years.
Directly from Dan Adika, our CEO: "These are unpredictable times and we are expecting difficult days ahead of us. Israel is a strong nation and unfortunately has dealt with many aggressions from terrorist groups and nations that wish to hurt us. We will overcome and win, as we always do. Hamas is a cowardly terrorist organization that attacks women, children and men alike. Their tactics are horrible and we are currently dealing with a wide terror attack. At WalkMe, we look after one another and support each other. As we go through this together, please continue to show kindness, empathy and compassion for one another. If you have questions or concerns, reach out to HR or your managers."
