In Loving Memory of My 9-Year-Old Nephew Isaiah.

My name is Jessica Ward, and today I am asking for help during what is without a doubt one of the most heartbreaking moments my family has ever faced.

This morning, our family lost my precious 9-year-old nephew in a devastating car accident. The vehicle caught fire, and tragically, he became trapped inside. There are no words that can truly describe the pain of losing such a beautiful, innocent child in such a sudden and heartbreaking way.

He was the sweetest, kindest boy. He had so much life ahead of him, and our family was blessed to have him in our lives. He was loved beyond words, and his absence has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

We are starting this fundraiser to help our family with the funeral and burial expenses he deserves. Losing a child is a parent’s worst nightmare, and having to worry about the financial burden of giving him a proper goodbye makes an already unbearable situation even harder.

While we are raising funds to help with the funeral we also want to recognize the unimaginable pain his mother is facing right now. No parent should ever have to experience the heartbreak of losing their child, especially in such a sudden and tragic way.

She is grieving the loss of her sweet 9-year-old son while trying to navigate the overwhelming reality of saying goodbye to her baby. There are no words that can truly describe this kind of pain, and no amount of money can ever take away her grief. We simply hope that by coming together, we can ease some of the financial burden surrounding this tragedy and allow her the time and space to grieve, remember, and honor her son without having to worry about how everything will be paid for.

I want to be transparent about how the funds raised through this GoFundMe will be handled. I will be the person receiving the funds because I am managing Isaiah’s funeral and related expenses on behalf of our family.

The money raised will go directly toward covering the funeral, memorial, and other expenses related to laying Isaiah to rest. If there are any funds remaining after all funeral and related expenses have been paid, the remaining money will be placed into a fund for Isaiah’s little brother, Oliver, to help support him in the future.
