With a heart full of sorrow, I’m sharing the devastating loss my cousin's son and my Godson Isaiah is now facing. Just moments after bringing their newborn son into the world, his beloved wife, Katerina, passed away unexpectedly.

Together, they were raising a sweet 18-month-old daughter and had been joyfully preparing to become a family of four. Their life together was grounded in love, laughter, and a deep faith in God. Now, Isaiah faces the unimaginable — raising two small children without the woman who was his wife, his best friend, and his partner in faith.

A Life Rooted in Faith

Katerina and Isaiah shared an unshakable belief in Christ. Through every joy and every challenge, their faith remained their foundation. Even in our grief, we trust in the promise of eternity.

We find comfort in the words of Philippians 1:21:

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

We believe Katerina is now in the presence of our Lord — fully at peace. But here on Earth, our hearts ache in her absence.
