Support for Isaiah and Aaron's Recovery

It is with great sadness that I am asking for your help. My brother and his family were part of gun violence. They were part of the victims of the mass shooting on 52nd & Damen. My nephews, Isaiah (7 years old) and Aaron (1 year old) were both struck by gunshot wounds. They are currently in the ICU in critical condition. They have suffered great damage. Aaron might have to have his kidney removed due to the bullet impacting his organ. Isaiah will need more surgeries in the near future also. Both of them were in surgery for hours and it is a god’s miracle they are here with us. My brother’s wife was grazed by a gunshot wound in her arm trying to protect Aaron. Nobody should have to worry about going to a family get together and almost losing both of their kids. It’s devastating the amount of pain they are going through seeing their babies injured. Both my brother and his wife have to take turns and switch from the hospital rooms the kids are in. They are both unable to leave the hospital or even work. Please help me help them get through this without the worry of money. Their only focus should be their babies. Anything will be greatly appreciated. It has been and will continue to be truly traumatizing for their family and for everyone that was involved. May little Ariana rest in peace. Keep them in your prayers.

Con gran tristeza solicito su ayuda. Mi hermano y su familia fueron parte de la violencia armada. Fueron parte de las víctimas del tiroteo masivo en 52nd & Damen. Mis sobrinos, Isaiah (7 años) y Aaron (1 año) resultaron heridos de bala. Actualmente se encuentran en el ICU en estado crítico. Han sufrido graves daños. Es posible que Aaron le tengan que extirpar el riñón debido a que la bala impactó su órgano. Isaías también necesitará más cirugías en el futuro . Ambos estuvieron en cirugía durante horas y es un milagro de Dios que estén aquí con nosotros. La esposa de mi hermano recibió una herida de bala en el brazo cuando intentaba proteger a Aaron. Nadie debería tener que preocuparse por ir a una reunión familiar y casi perder a sus dos hijos. Es devastador el dolor que sienten al ver a sus bebés heridos. Tanto mi hermano como su esposa tienen que turnarse y cambiar de las habitaciones del hospital en las que se encuentran los niños. Ambos no pueden salir del hospital ni siquiera para trabajar. Por favor ayúdenme a ayudarlos a superar esto sin preocuparse por el dinero. Su único objetivo deberían ser sus bebés. Cualquier cosa será muy apreciada. Ha sido y seguirá siendo verdaderamente traumatizante para su familia y para todos los involucrados. Que en paz descanse la pequeña Ariana. Por favor manténganlos en sus oraciones.
