Iris Carvalho was a loving mother, friend, and pillar of our community. As her youngest son, I watched her raise three boys—Anthony, Adrian, and myself—on her own after our father passed away when we were young. She faced every challenge with strength and compassion, always putting others before herself. Iris was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back, and her kindness touched countless lives. She had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances, and her big heart made her beloved by all who knew her.

Recently, Iris lost her battle with lung cancer. Our family is now facing the difficult task of arranging her funeral and honoring her memory.
